"Why is this Door Locked?"
{Here is the updated version of the sonnet:
"Why is this Door Locked?"
(A) In her ears the sound was very quite loud
(B) & then they found that they could not get in
(A) Deep in her chambered heart she had now found
(B) The foretold cold hand wrapped around her chin
(C) Time for warm drops was far passed it all now
(D) As she had shoved all the ovals down there
(C) Coming to this point she had plotted how
(D) Like Ophelia, flowers everywhere
(E) She was far beyond to hear all their calls
(F) Trapped forever in her mind's little play
(E) The curtain raised & she heard the applause
(F) "Alas, I'm gone!" was all that she could say
(G) So when they ask about Gloomy Sunday
(G) They need to know this is the only way
Though it is eerie, I'm am quite proud of my poem/sonnet. I am in a bad place right now. If I had manic depression, I'd be in a depressive stage. I feel like I'm saying all the wrong things & bothering everyone including myself & not knowing what to say. What I do I say to someone on medication who wants to stop taking it when I've never been in their shoes? I'm also not finding any enjoyment about being a photographer It gives me a bigger appreciation for them but I hate this side of the camera. I can't stand it I hate it. & Ms. B…I've never hated someone before besides myself. I've got lots of rage toward myself at the moment too. Lots of it{Here is the updated version of the sonnet:
Why is the Door Locked? Sonnet
In her ears the sound was very quite
loud
And then they found that they could
not get in
Deep in her chambered heart she had now found
The cold foretold hand wrapped around
her chin
Time for warm drops was far passed it
all now
As she had shoved all the ovals down
there
Coming to this point she had plotted
how
Like Ophelia, flowers everywhere
She was far beyond to hear all their
calls
Trapped in the play her mind had to
comply
The curtain raised and she heard the
applause
"Alas, I'm gone" was all
that she could cry
So
when they ask about Gloomy Sunday
They
need to know this is the only way}
